Open for Submissions: AFA Festival Team looking forward viewing your film, or script, or other. NEW CATEGORIES: feature & short film, feature & short documentary film, feature & short animation, music video, feature screenplay.
All AFA competitive screenings are judged by int'l committee & industry professionals, recent festival included 18 films in official selection. Honouring 9 screenwriters for special screenplay awards. Click & view (Awards Categories & Awards)
No runtime limit. All Films & Scripts must have a logline and one page synopsis included, and send by email. We do not accept electronic send scripts. DVD's & promo material will not be returned. We notify of acceptances for screening only, same for Screenwriters, to attend the festival. All above mentioned categories may be submitted by the screenwriter, director, producer, editor, production company, distributer, animator, or cinematographer. Read, sign & submit via website entry form (print out on Website), and mail all submissions as soon as possible to the address on submission form. (Do not use registered mail please!)

Features and shorts: only full DVD Screeners will be accepted for entries!
• DVD and submitted materials will not be returned.
• Please do not send film prints master tapes or other materials.
• DVDs must be clearly labeled with the film title,
running time, and contact information
(name, address and phone-number).
• All submissions must be shipped & prepaid the latest
by the 15 October 2009.

Under exceptional circumstances you can
pay us in US $ travellers cheques but please add 5 US$ fee to cover

the appropriate entry fee and any relevant press materials. Please

SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES –RULES & REGULATIONS
• SEND FULL DVDs
• CERTAIN ACCEPTANCE OF FILMS WHICH HAVE BEEN ALREADY RELEASED
TO CINEMAS IN EUROPE OR THE US.
• WE WELCOME US, AUSTRALIAN, CANADIAN FILMS IN THEIR ORIGINAL
VERSION, OTHER FILMS MUST HAVE ENGLISH SUBTITLES
SUBMISSIONS POINTS
• More than one entry may be submitted
SCREENERS WILL NOT BE RETURNED
ACCEPTANCE NOTIFICATION
• FILMMAKERS whose works are officially selected for
the 2009 AFA-MIFF will be notified by the end of October
2009!
OFFICIAL SELECTION
• If your film is selected to
the festival, you will be expected to provide the following additional
items:
Press kit or/and promo-materials (Posters) photos of leading stars….
RETURN OF PRINTS
• Films which have participated in Monaco International Film
Festival have to be returned by the same means as entered.
• The cost of the shipping agent and the transport must be
paid by the Owner.
SUBJECT TO CHANGES
The organizers and associated organizers reserve the right to alter, change, amend and/or cancel any part of the festival programme.
