The NGO is actively working in Mali with Mujeres Solidarias of the University of Malaga and Concordia Charity with Princess Marie-Louise of Prussia as well as funding an orphanage in Ethiopia and, under the Montserrat Caballè Education Scholarship, the orphanage’s children attend a private school headed by an Italian. The NGO also funds this scholarship.

There are 800 children on a tutoring and mentoring program in a refugee camp in the Palestinian Territories that is run by and funded by the NGO. Their latest project involves the children in Al Za’atari Syrian Refugee Camp in Jordan.

Lamia Khashoggi is still one of the most photographed women due to her beauty and grace. However, her concentration on her charity work and lifting children from the depths of despair and poverty into a new world through education constitutes her life and her dreams.

She holds a degree in the Arts and it is her dream to have an arts program in every project the NGO she co-founded implements. She was named in UNESCO’s “A Network of Remarkable Women.”

Those who know her state that her kindness, gentility and heart are as beautiful as her physical presence. Indeed, this is evidenced through her actions for her NGO and her presence at many other charitable functions.

Her motto is “Education is the best investment one can make. Its returns are immeasurable.”
